Pay special attention to these 4 things while making UPI Payment ?

Payment using UPI?  Remember the 4 safety tips of the UPI Safety Shield ?

The Covid’s time has explained to us how the relentless human spirit can help us overcom any difficult stage of life. All of us have shown resilience and courage for months, but we cannot disappoint our guards; The more careful we are, the sooner we can get out of this.

Turn to digital payments and start using UPIs to enable an extra level of security in your transactions.

UPI (Unified Payments Interface) is a specialized payment system where you can make bank-to-bank transfers using the receiver's unique UPI ID.  Money can be sent from one UPI application to any other UPI enabled application.  When transferring money, follow these four safety tips from UPI Safety Shield to ensure secure payment:

●1. Know who you are transferring money to First, you must verify the person's UPI ID before starting the payment to make sure the money is sent.  To the right person.  Just as you need an email ID to send an email to someone else, so you need the UPI ID of the person to whom you want to send money.  Each UPI user has a unique UPI ID, which is created when registering on UPI.  With this UPI ID, users can send and receive money through any UPI enabled application.

If you forgot your UPI ID, refer to the profile page of your UPI enabled application.

●2. Keep your UPI PIN secret No one should ever share their UPI PIN with anyone and enter it only on the UPI PIN page.  It is similar to an ATM PIN that must be secured.

A UPI PIN is a 4-6 digit number created by a user.  Without entering your unique UPI PIN, users will not be able to send money through their UPI-enabled application.  The UPI PIN is only to be entered on the UPI PIN page.  The UPI PIN page is viewed before it enters the amount it wants to transfer.  (Please note: This UPI PIN page will appear on the application, not in any other browser.) Entering the UPI PIN will confirm the transaction, which means that once the user enters the PIN, the amount will be deducted and the money will be transferred to the recipient.

UPI PIN is required to send money from the user's bank account.  It is a necessary step to confirm the amount and allow its deduction.  To receive payment, the user does not need to enter their UPI PIN.

A UPI PIN is a secret PIN that should only be used by the user.  If there is a request to share or insert it on another page, do not proceed with it as it leads you to scatter.

●3. SMS  Check the debited amount on the instructions Debit money SMS is received almost immediately once the transaction is completed.  This SMS should always be checked to confirm the amount transferred.  An SMS also acts as an instant alert for any money debited from your account.

●4 .. Check the 'UPI-Assistance' section of the UPI application for any issue If there is a problem with the payment process or any transaction, get an immediate resolution on the UPI application only, through UPI-Assistance.  The UPI-support department is equipped to solve your problems.

The UPI-Assistance feature is available on the UPI application.  Users can use this feature to check the status of transactions, raise complaints about any deductions or process amounts.  The UPI-assisted facility will provide a solution to any problem of payment by the user.  All you need to do is visit the UPI-Assistance Department and lodge a complaint.  Inside your UPI application

Just by remembering these four important tips, you can ensure that every payment made on the UPI application is completely secure, and you can use this method of non-contact payment to protect yourself during an epidemic.
