Allergies, side effects and benefits of allopathic medicines?

Friends, today everyone wants to be healthy, wants to be fit.  I want something like that the disease should never come around.  But still, in spite of lakhs of efforts, we fall ill due to some reason.  And then we miss the doctor for such medicines which can give us immediate relief.  And we'll be fit again.  Now, although there are many options available to cure diseases related to the body, but allopathic has done the magic of providing instant relief.

We have so many misconceptions about allopathic medicines. It is very heavy, it gets hot, there are reactions, etc. But these same drugs are showing results in the world right now and there is no alternative to allopathic treatment in emergencies. It is necessary to continue the treatment as per the doctor's advice otherwise it can work like a double-edged sword. Therefore, the medicine should be taken only for the disease for which the medicine has been given. Otherwise it can be harmful.

Now let's talk about the side effects of drugs i.e. allergies and harms caused by drugs. So what are the side effects of drugs? When drugs are given to treat a disease, in addition to curing the disease, other side effects that are harmful are called side effects. These side effects are mainly of two types.

1) Side effects of medicinal properties of drugs on other organs

2) Allergic reaction due to drugs

The above side effects are described in detail below.

1) Side effects of medicinal properties of drugs on other organs

Drugs that affect the organ of the main patient produce different side effects in different organs. For example, an asthma medication may increase or excite a child's heart rate.

Some medications can be harmful if taken for a long time. For example, epilepsy causes swelling of the gums. In addition, some drugs can be poisoned if taken in error or intentionally in high doses.

When these drugs are digested and absorbed in the gut, they are sometimes stimulated to cause diarrhea, such as diarrhea caused by ampicillin. Also, some medications are not given when you have kidney failure, such as gentamicin.

Some medications cause mental arousal, while others cause depression. In addition, some drugs damage red blood cells, while others damage the bone marrow. Occasionally there may be an asthma attack. Side effects on the skin can be red rashes, itching and rashes. Prolonged use of drugs can cause fever which is called 'drug fever'. Thus, the doctor should prescribe the medicine to the patient keeping in view the many such side effects.

2) Allergic reaction due to drugs

Allergy effects occur in only 6 to 15% of the total side effects. Which are seen in different forms. Allergies appear mainly on the skin in the form of red rashes, rashes, itching and hives. Sometimes large grains are filled with water inside. Drugs such as sulfur cause swelling and redness of the skin and the inner white blood vessels. This is called 'SJ syndrome'.

The most dangerous form of drug allergy is anaphylaxis which can be fatal. Immediately after giving penicillin-like injections, the patient develops wheezing, trembling, sweating, dizziness, and vomiting. In a short time the patient goes into mourning and becomes unconscious and loses his life if proper treatment is not given. Thus, this is a dangerous reaction that is rarely seen.

■ Treatment:

Discontinue any medication that appears to have side effects. Other drugs in her group can also cause these side effects, so change the group and note it on the patient's file.

Sneezing, red rashes, etc. disappear automatically when the medication is stopped, but for this antihistamine medication or steroid medication or ointment should be started as per the doctor's advice. The onset of anaphylaxis attacks should be immediately followed by the patient being admitted to a treatment center under the care of a specialist doctor.

■ Remedies to prevent drug side effects:

•Before giving any medicine to the patient, get accurate information about whether anyone in the house has allergies and whether the patient has any allergies before.

•Inform the patient and relatives about the side effects of any medicine. If the patient has any liver or kidney disease, give the medicine accordingly.

•When giving injections like penicillin or iron, first give a test dose on the skin, after 20 minutes, give full dose only if no allergy is noticed.

•Do not keep any drugs in the hands of children. Sometimes a child can be poisoned by mistake.

•Do not specify the person taking the medicine yourself or the person taking the medicine on the advice of a chemist.

■ Allopathic medicines Advantages :
